The History and Context of WPA Murals at the San Francisco Maritime Museum

San Francisco Heritage begins its 2016 lecture series with "The History and Context of WPA Murals at the San Francisco Maritime Museum."

National Park Service Ranger David Pelfrey will introduce the art and artists of New Deal-era federal arts projects in San Francisco, using the Bathhouse Building as a case study.

From July through November, lectures are held on Thursday evenings at 6:00pm, with doors opening at 5:30pm. Individual tickets are $10 for Heritage members and students (with ID) and $15 for the general public. Series passes (all five lectures) are $40 for members/students and $60 for the public.
